Our tuition only covers approximately 90% of our
school's operating budget. Therefore, to keep our school as affordable
as possible, we rely heavily on our fundraising efforts to meet our
operational and strategic goals. All parents are asked to embrace this
culture of giving and are expected to participate to the best of their
abilities.
Annual Appeal
The goal of the Annual Fund is to close the gap
between tuition revenue and the costs of operation. All monies raised
are dedicated to the operating budget of the school, which covers such
items as faculty salaries, financial aid, and student programs and
services. Annual giving enables every parent to participate
productively in the financial life of the school with a tax-deductible
gift. As we strive to improve and enhance our school, the generosity of
these gifts makes a significant difference in the lives of our students
and creates a financial network of donors that enables us to fulfill
our mission.
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is an event all parents and
friends of Sanderling Waldorf School look forward to every year. This
themed evening of entertainment, food, drink, and a live and silent
auction serves as a major fundraising opportunity for the school.
Other events that support our school are the Rummage
Sale, the eBay Auction Donation Drive, and giving campaigns such as
the Grandparent's Giving Fundraiser. Without these events, and more
inspiring events to come in the future, it would be nearly impossible to provide
a financially healthy school environment for our children.
